Books recommended by our pupils!
For the second Primary Weekly Challenge, we asked our pupils to tell us about their favourite, recently-read book.
We've had some great suggestions. Maybe you could give one of these a try!
Henry chose 'Horrible Histories, Woeful Second World War' by Terry Deary. He said: "This book was particularly funny out of the HH collection, and I liked learning about what life was like for young people in that era."
William has really been enjoying his Abigail Steel collection. His favourite book so far has been 'That Dog' as it reminds him of his dog, Poppy.
Jack's favourite is 'The Danger Gang' by Tom Fletcher. He said: "I like this book because it is full of action and there is a boy who can turn into a shark when he gets wet. It’s a book full of imagination."
Taylor's choice is 'Goosebumps: Say Cheese and Die Screaming' by R.L. Stine. He likes this book because it is creepy and keeps him on the edge of his seat.
Amber's vote is for 'Tyrannosaurus Drip' by Julia Donaldson and David Roberts. She said: "I love this book because it’s funny at the end of the book because the Tyrannosauruses fall off the log and go under the water."
Nairit has chosen 'The Parent Agency' by David Baddiel.
