Collaborative STEM project

Year 4 has taken part in a collaborative STEM project with Valley Invicta Academy Trust.

Year 12 students from Invicta Grammar School worked with Year 4 to create solutions to real word problems.

Pupils presented their ideas to the school and parents and a vote was taken to decide the winning group. The design ideas were incredibly impressive and well thought through and reasoned.

The group that won designed a solar panel to charge mobile phones with an ability to store energy for future use.

This team will go on to take part in the Year 8 Science Fair in May, where their project will be competing against out other primary schools
