'Good' rating from Ofsted!

Valley Invicta Primary School at Leybourne Chase is delighted to have been rated as Good by Ofsted following an inspection on 25/26 September.

Head Teacher, Nicola Craig, said: "We are thrilled to have received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted after the very first inspection of our school.  This result is testament to the hard work of all our pupils, parents, governors, and, of course, our fantastic team of staff.  We are very proud of the way in which the report comments on ‘our high aspirations for pupils and the range of exciting experiences provided by our curriculum’.”

The report praised the leadership and teaching staff of the school; it acknowledged that some pupils are making exceptional progress.  Further to this, the report highlights that ‘parents are delighted with the school’ and that ‘pupils feel safe and happy’.

Julie Derrick, Joint CEO of Valley Invicta Academies Trust (VIAT), said: “I am so proud of everyone at the school and the Trust, who have worked tirelessly to provide the very best for our pupils since Valley Invicta Primary School at Leybourne Chase opened in 2015.  This Ofsted report gives us strong foundations on which to build in the future and clear goals to aim for.  We are all very excited about moving forward on our journey to Outstanding.”
