Science Week thank yous

We would like to thank two of our very own parents for their amazing input during science week. They delivered truly inspiring and thought-provoking lessons to every class.

Matevz Papp-Rupar, plant pathologist, introduced the children to the wonderful world of plants and microbes – did you know that leaves have mouths? We are currently growing our own microbes in petri dishes.

Allie Woodward, Veterinarian, delivered a brilliant workshop on the care of small animals. Followed by a game of identifying animals from their x-rays. Some of the children were amazing at this and they have learnt so much about the structures of animals’ bodies.
